Dr. Steve Mascarin DDS
Creating beautiful and healthy teeth gives Dr. Steve Mascarin of The Family Dental Centre a reason to smile.
A graduate of the School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Steve has a keen interest in sleep dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, implant surgery, dentures and permanent prosthetics. Backed by a wealth of knowledge and experience, he provides his patients with quality, personalized service, ensuring that each visit is pleasant and comfortable.
Dr. Steve is a member of various professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Orthodontics, the Canadian Society of Oral Implantology, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He is also a graduate of the Misch Institute of Implantology, and frequently travels across the country, attending conferences, training seminars and lectures to update his professional skills. By taking the time to explain the treatments and services available to his patients, Dr. Steve makes each individual feel they are a part of the process. His reputation for patient-friendly service has made him a favourite family dentist and a hit with kids.

Dr. Yasmin Monemdjou DDS
Dr. Yasmin has been welcomed by staff and patients alike. Her warm personality and gentle care during dental treatment make her a great asset to the Family Dental Centre Team.
Prior to graduating from the University of Western Ontario, she spent two months in Tanzania, Africa doing volunteer dentistry. She saw extensive poverty and felt her time there caring for patients, was a worthwhile experience. This experience helped develop her strong interest in children and children's' dentistry.
Dr. Yasmin is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, the American Cosmetic Dentistry Association and the Bay of Quinte Dental Society.

Dr. Ramez Salti MBA, DDS
Dr. Ramez is a true people's person—warm, friendly and outgoing. After graduating with an MBA from McMaster University it became clear to Dr. Ramez that he wanted to work with, and help people. He then attended the University of Western Ontario and graduated from the Dentistry program with many and various awards; was the class president and valedictorian.
His dental experience was enhanced by a two month trip to Tanzania, Africa to do volunteer dentistry. This enriching experience involved traveling from village to village with instruments and medications in his backpack. Dental care for the poor in orphanages, shelters and in the streets was challenging and rewarding. While very capable in all areas of dentistry it was in Africa that he developed his interest in dental surgery.
The Family Dental Centre welcomes him to our practice and patients will enjoy meeting him at all three locations.
