How to Maintain Your Oral Hygiene at Home

Daily Care

Things You'll Need:
Dental Floss
Mouthwash
Toothbrush
Toothpaste

Basic Steps:

Step One: Squeeze some toothpaste onto a toothbrush.

Step Two: Use short, front-to-back brushing motions to clean the outside and inside surfaces of the teeth, as well as the chewing surfaces.

Step Three: Use up-and-down motions to clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth.

Step Three: Gently brush along the gum line. Proper cleaning of the gum line is important in the prevention of gum disease.

Step Four: Brush your back molars, where bacteria like to hide.

Step Five: Brush your tongue to remove bacteria that causes bad breath.

Step Six: Spit out the toothpaste and rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash.

Step Seven: It is important to try to floss at least once a day as most cavities for adults occur between teeth. When flossing guide the floss between the teeth and use it to gently rub the side of each tooth.
