I had an upper denture for about 10 years that was no problem. However, I had a partial and some of my own teeth in the lower jaw. My few remaining teeth were starting to fall apart. I put off doing anything because I was nervous about actually having a lower denture, after hearing horror stories from older relatives. Finally I had to get things repaired. I talked with Dr. Steve who said things would be good with 3 dental implants on my lower jaw.
After undergoing the surgery, I spent several weeks with a lower denture that was loose. It moved whenever I ate, talked or sneezed. When I finally got the implants together (attached) - it was such a dramatic change! I can eat anything. I am feeling more confident with my beautiful new smile!

For me there is nothing scarier than having to go to the dentist. Usually it requires an emergency to get me into a chair. This past week, I found it necessary to visit Dr. Mascarin's office. For the first time, I felt like someone was acturally listening to me and recognized my fear.

The staff were all fabulous throughout the 8 1/2 hours I spent in their office. Throughout the day, someone was always asking to make sure I felt at ease.

Thanks to their professionalism and caring I am finally proceeding with steps to ensure my teeth stay healthy and having the necessary dental work done to keep them that way.

A year ago, I began experiencing serious teeth problems which resulted in the loss of all my teeth over a period of time. Dr. Steve Mascarin strongly advised that I should have implants on my dentures to make eating easier and my health would be better overall. It was an expensive proposition, and at times, I found the procedures challenging.

However, now that the work is completed, I am very satisfied that I took his advice. I also have received many compliments on my new smile.

I came into the Family Dental Centre with 6 lower teeth and also a lower partial that fit only "ok". After my first visit with Dr. Mascarin I proceded with 2 lower implants, a lower overdenture and a complete upper denture.
I was nervous about the procedure, even though they told me all about it. It is still different when you are getting it done. I can't remember anything bad about the procedure and I am very happy with my results.
Three years later I can say I have been nothing but satisfied with my decision.
